Replace Actors In Your Favorite Films
Hot New Trend in Video Game Interaction
Movie Karaoke (http://www.cinematical.com/2010/06/17/what-is-movie-karaoke-and-will-you-play-it/) is a new video gaming concept where you can insert yourself digitally into scenes from popular films. In essence, you become the actor in the same way that you replace the singer in traditional karaoke. With movie karaoke, however, there is more of a fun element because you are actually in the scene with the other actors, and you have to act along with the plot or things start to get disjointed. With Microsoft Kinect and Playstation Move cameras, the video game aspect of movie karaoke becomes apparent. Yoostar is a video game that takes this concept to the next level with its own hardware, and Yoostar 2 promises to come to other systems, and offers scenes from movies plus additional downloadable content (similar to Rock Band and Guitar Hero song downloads) so people who are into Movie Karaoke can expand their repertoire or at least avoid the boredom of doing the same scenes over again.
Notes and Special Information
Special note: Movie karaoke has some limitations and may take some time to catch on considering the newness of motion capture technology.
